DESCRIPTION:First Friday Means Business the Dublin-Laurens County Chamber's informative monthly program held during the breakfast hour. This event features a key-note speaker who addresses issues of interest to the community as well as updates from the city\, county\, chamber and from the event sponsor.  The event will be held at Middle Georgia State University - Dublin Campus from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. on the first Friday of each month and will be attended by many of the Dublin-Laurens County top business managers and leaders. Breakfast is included as part of the program.\n\n\n\nProgram:\n\n"Georgians First:  Cutting Red Tape for Small Businesses"\n\nScott Hilton\, Georgians First Commission\, Governo'r Office of Planning & Budget\n\n\n\nOther guest speakers will include Lance Jones\, City of Dublin\; Trae Kemp\, Laurens County Commissioners\; Elsie Stevens\, Chamber of Commerce and Jeremy Ragan\, Capital City Bank.\n\n\n\nHelp us with the final push to assist our local daycare facilities obtain their certification as a Quality Rated Childcare Facility.  Bring one of the items with you to the December First Friday and let's be one of the first counties in Georgia to have achieved this accomplishment!  Items needed are:\n\n\n\n \n\nFeels Real Board Books   textures\n\nSand and water table for outside\n\nBoard books (realistic animals\, pets\, foods\, multicultural\, math which includes numbers and shapes)\n\nsoft texture pillows (4)\n\nsoft baskets to store infant materials\n\ndolls of three shades   soft dolls for infants and regular dolls for toddlers\n\nLarge rug _ 5'4" x 7'8" for infant room\n\nMedium size rug   4' x 6' for toddler room\n\nToddler upright book display\n\nKnob puzzles (shapes\, animals\, etc.\n\nPeg puzzles\n\nMulticultural puzzles\n\nMath puzzles\n\nFloor puzzles
